Pedon Note: A + E horizon sampled together-E horizon was thin and discontinuous in this pedon. Coarse fragments in solum were generally <5% g & c one 2' diameter stone in Bw1 in pit. Pit dug to 180cm. Drainage class-well drained high chroma mottling above till is common for soil map unit. Oi-undecomposed pine needle, leaf and twig matter (L-Horizon combined with Oi). A-20% uncoated white (quartz) sand grains. Bw1 & Bw2 few worm/root channels (7.5YR 4/5), 5-10mm in diameter-channel fillings were firm. Quad Name: Wareham, Massachusetts
