Oe-- 0 to 2 inches; dark brown (7.5YR 3/2) ; weak fine and medium granular structure; very friable; common very fine and fine roots throughout and common medium throughout; 4.2; abrupt wavy boundary.

Oa-- 2 to 3 inches; black (N 2/0) sapric material; weak fine and medium granular structure; very friable; common very fine and fine roots throughout and common medium throughout; 4.4; abrupt wavy boundary.

possible A horizon; some uncoated quartz sand grains 10YR 6/1; pieces of charcoal observed
